Promises of Hope, Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to our by-line of "Building Healthy Families".
We do this every week by impacting or helping families and in many ways that action is small but the ripple effect is large.
Our key components to effecting change in communities include:

>bringing awareness to issues directly affecting communities,

>hosting small support groups that focus on encouraging health[ier] behaviors,

>mentoring individuals or couples, and
-
>in providing where we can to families brought to our attention.
Asa and Shelley have both used their own testimonies in speaking or teaching opportunities to simply encourage others: YES YOU CAN! ~ You can find new hope. You can find a better behavior pattern. You can find new [healthy] friends. You CAN recover. You can re-create or create a NEW path for your future.
Our personal testimonies simply point to the One who broke our cycles of unhealthy behavior and brokenhearted natures. We have seen the goodness of God even in the difficult moments or seasons. We know God uses this to break down walls and resurrect new lives in the name of Jesus.

We know it's possible for people to walk in love, and see their marriage or family thrive again in the body of Christ. Only then can the church be fully restored into a 1 Corinthians 13 kind of love. The Love from Jesus that He desires for us all.
Real love "bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things" (1 Cor 13:7) and meets the present need without expectation of return. (Matthew 25:36-40)
We use our God-infused stories, honest testimonies, and our practical application of the biblical principles that bring change in lives.
